I've noticed that a lot of people have been experiencing this issue lately, so I am here to help.

The issue is that when you join a game, the League of Legends TM Client won't open, so you're stuck in the Reconnect screen for the rest of the game.

APPLY -Launch the LoL Client and log in.After it is on home page go back to network settings and restore the advance settings to the full speed and duplex selection. Now you have your full speed internet again with nice ping. Wait a seconds if the PLAY button on client gets black and there you go. When i attempt to log back in for the second time it won't even start up and a window on my Mac say 'something went wrong'. On the rarer case when I fully log in with no 'trying to reconnect' window, I attempt to start a game and once one was found its stuck on the 'accept' or 'decline' for a match and I can't go into a game.

This seems to have happened starting from Patch 8.13.

The reason is, your Antivirus.

Whatever part of the new patch, most Antivirus will most likely detect a TROJAN virus in the new patch. Whether that is believable or not, it's up to you.

How to fix

This usually differs from Antivirus to Antivirus, but try to WHITELIST League of Legends. If that does not work, do the below:

You'll have to uninstall your antivirus to run League. Press the Start Menu, then click on Control Panel. Under Programs, choose Uninstall a program. Afterwards, click on your antivirus and proceed to uninstall.

After you've done that, you'll have to restore anything the Antivirus removed from LoL. To do that, you'll have to Initiate a Full Repair on League. Open the League Client, then at the top right (where the minimize and close buttons are), click on the gear button.

If your device is slow, wait until a button named Initiate Full Repair. Click it.

A full repair usually takes only 15-30 minutes. After that, try running League.

It should work from there.
